Refund Policy

We aim to provide exceptional experiences through our events, including Deep Tech Week and associated programming. To ensure clarity for all attendees, the following refund policy applies to all ticket purchases:

1. Standard Refund Policy

  • Full Refund: Tickets canceled 14 or more days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund (excluding non-refundable processing fees).
  • Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 13 and 5 days before the event start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made within 5 days of the event start date are not eligible for a refund.

2. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

If an event is canceled by Hyperstition Incorporated, all ticket holders will receive a full refund, including processing fees.
If an event is rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. Attendees who cannot make the rescheduled date may request a full refund within 14 days of the rescheduling notice.

3. Force Majeure

Hyperstition Incorporated is not responsible for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, labor strikes). In such cases, refunds may be issued at the organizer’s discretion.

4. Transfer Policy

Tickets are fully transferable to another attendee upon request, at no additional charge, up to 48 hours prior to the event. Please contact us at andrew@hyperstition.tech to request a name change.

5. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to andrew@hyperstition.tech. Please include:

  • Full name
  • Ticket order number
  • Reason for refund

We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 business days.

6. Processing Fees

Please note that third-party payment processor fees (e.g., Stripe) may not be refundable depending on their policies.
